I don't think I was needlessly cruel.
I made it as fast as Nirrti wanted. If I'm being honest, I could have executed him a hundred more times, and it still wouldn't be enough.

My feelings are the ones that matter, because each person matters the most to themselves. That's how I want to live.

But the cost. In order to do that, he would have to pay the price.]

He's coming from the literal other end of the spectrum from others trying to teach the Witches, but the strange thing is the things they agree on: living things are all the same, in the ways that matter. It's the spaces in between that might contain new possibilities, ways of living, places to go.
He sits back a little when he's released, closing his eyes for the briefest moment before stretching out his limbs, slowly. His expression only shifts a little from when he was frozen, watching Watanuki with equal parts wariness and thoughtfuless.]
