'Prophet', remember? I have a bit of a sixth sense when it comes to people wanting to make wishes.

[He'll sit down in the other chair.]

I have a guess, but it's my policy to let the customer talk through it. That tends to reveal more of the intent behind the wish than just guessing for myself.

Anon-kun is gone and Koide-kun is with you. The only one I can still do anything for is Kurama-kun.

As a youkai, one power I had was the ability to share my senses with other living things. I can't do that here, so I'm asking you to do it for me. I want to share my sight with him so we can better look out for each other, and so that he has more of an opportunity to defend himself if anyone targets him.

Oh, that's like what Doumeki and I did, except done intentionally. I can grant that wish, yes.

[ It would literally be an eye for an eye. ]

Yes, but it doesn't have to be a 'complete eye' kind of thing.

[He points to his own right eye.]

This is half of someone else's eyesight. He could still see out of his own eye, but his eyesight in that eye was cut in half, and that half was given to me. I could do something like that for you, if you like. Until you get glasses it will be disorienting, and you will randomly be able to see what he sees, but it might be a good way to give him that protection without completely going blind in one eye.

That would only give him half of it too, wouldn't it? Or are you actually in the business of granting half-priced wishes?

It's not a half-priced wish, Emi-san. The idea is that you wouldn't have to go blind in one eye that way.

Plus you both could sometimes see what the other sees if you share an eye.

How would that work on his part, then?

If he consents to it, you could each give the other a half of your eye? That would be an even trade and would take care of the cost handily.

I can't just demand prices willy-nilly. They have to balance out the wish.

You wish to give insight to Kurama, to protect him. In exchange, you would need to leave yourself vulnerable by giving someone else insight into you. That is a fair trade.
