So it does take a certain kind of acknowledgement. Do you know if any Witches were never human to start with?

I wouldn't be surprised if there were, but I don't know for sure. I was human once, as was Nirrti.

One last thing, then I'll stop pestering you. The titles, do they mean anything to the person that has them or are they just inherited? Like, did Yuuko-san gain it from another Witch or did she already have something to do with Fragments?

You don't have to stop pestering me, I don't mind.

They can definitely be passed down from person to person, I had first claim on the title of Witch of Dimensions because Yuuko-san left it for me. But if a title remains unclaimed, it can be taken by someone else.

I think so, yeah. She got her name, and her identity.

When you say 'taken by someone else' does that mean anyone or does it have to be a Witch? Or someone with magic like you had?

Its more like if someone claimed it, they would become a witch if they weren't already one.
