I'm sorry for dragging you into a vision like that. It doesn't normally happen, so I can only guess that it happened because of the connection between you and I currently.
Please don't apologize for that. [ it was terrifying and tbh she's still going to be shaken up about it for a couple of days, but it's probably going to help them figure out what to do in the long run, so Sakura is counting it as a net gain ]
[He's apologetic for it, even if she doesn't want him to be.]
Yes. Since I summoned all of you here, you're connected to me. It's not unlike the connection between 'master' and 'servant', though without the need for battle, and without mana being exchanged.
[Mystery baker identified indeed. Watanuki looks a touch embarrassed as he takes the cookies. Getting food from Syaoran is one thing, but from someone else? And not as payment for anything? This certainly is new.]
Magic is different across all worlds. You can see some truly fantastic things, depending on where you go.
[There is a sense of fondness to his voice when he says that. Despite all that's happened, he does like his job, and he likes the people who he has met.]
I'd hoped it was something I could look into, one day. I wasn't given a formal education, but I guess it's because I'm a magus at heart, I still want to learn what I can, ahaha...
[ Oh. That wasn't what she was expecting. Huh. Sakura bites her lip, thinking. ]
I don't know how much of my advice will be useful, but I'll tell you what I can. I suppose one thing to keep in mind is that traditional summoning of Servants, the old way, not through Chaldea, or the system he knows...is that having a physical catalyst isn't all that draws your Servant to you. I summoned Rider because we were similar in temperament, and the things we've gone through make us sympathetic to each other. It's a very...intrinsic kind of link. The physical catalyst we had for her wasn't the best one, so it's more due to our link that she came to me in the first place. So that's where my advice will be coming from.
[ and also she ate saber ]
If you want to try to understand him better...hm. Was there anything specific you had in mind?
I don't know, really. I expected like...maybe a friendship? Normally a summoning like this involves fights to the death, so I figured anyone paired up for that reason would be friendly with each other. Ruler-san is polite, but I wouldn't exactly call him a friend.
That can happen. Maybe it's just a clashing of personalities? [ she hums in thought ] He also could just be more attached to his old master through no fault of your own.
Um...have you tried approaching him casually? Just as a friend, like you do with the rest of us?

About...?
[ unless it's about spooking her she's not accepting any apologies!! ]

"Connection"? As a...piece? Is that the word?

It's a bunch of cookies. The same kind of cookies she made the first week. Mystery baker identified. ]
...how strange. This sort of magic is so different from anything I've ever learned.

I...not really? But I also don't approach people often, usually they come to me.

Oh, um.
[ .... ]
Well, you could try that? Maybe he sees you as a little unapproachable.

[Whoops.]
You're right. I'll try approaching him.

DID HE REALLY NEVER JUST APPROACH HIM

JUST...USUALLY ABOUT BUSINESS...]
I will. Thanks, Sakura-san.

Um, on another note...I did want to talk about that vision.
How much of it do you remember? Did you see everything I did?
