[He will be Mysteriously Absent for most of the afternoon and evening, but at some point he can be found in his room.]

The bit of absence does make him wonder, but when he appears, he faces him with a composed, cool expression. ]

What made you decide that a game like this was needed in the first place?

Originally we weren't going to play a game, we were going to get into a fistfight. But Lambdadelta stopped us and told us that witches don't fight like that, they use games to settle scores. So, here we are.

...A fistfight.

[ Riku looks noodle-y Watanuki over... ]

[ ...that sure is a snort that leaves him. ]

I'd have paid to see that.

You don't have to mock me, I know how ridiculous I would look in a fight.

Right, right.

[ But now the image is stuck in his head for a second and he's imagining Nirrti and Watanuki having a slapfight, which he wills away because this is supposed to be serious business. ]

...Guess you had an idea of what you were getting into, then, didn't you? Since Nirrti mentioned something about you guys spectating a game that was supposed to show you how it'll go.

Still, despite everything I guess it's been a little hard imagining how you would even voluntarily get yourself into a mess like this.

[ He wouldn't think Watanuki was the type of person who'd want to at first glance, but ever since Nirrti, he supposed anything was possible. ]

It's more like "I kept going and going when I should have known better and pulled back", but it gets the same result I suppose. If there were to be a 'next time', I already know how I would do things differently.
